The Story Of The Smugglers

                  The story of the first Albanian Supporters Group starts in
                  the year 1989.It was the year when our team
                  “Sloga” - Skopje used to play in the Macedonian region
                  and trying to find the way for an upper level.
                  The first appearance of the supporters was within the game
                  Sloga-Zik Novaci when we won on penalties and qualified
                  for the first Macedonian league.
                  That game was followed by a fanatic supporting and
                  pyrotechnic show,that was prepared by the fans called
                  at the time “Gusari” (Pirates), later known as “Shverceri”
                  (The Smugglers).

                  It was the beginning of the story that was to be followed with
                  outstanding cheering and supporting throughout the days of
                  our existence.This Supporting Group has few characteristics
                  that make some difference among others.First of all it is the
                  first Albanian Organised Group of Supporters in the region,
                  including Albania, Macedonia and Kosova.It was a sample
                  to other major towns like Tirana, Prishtina, Tetova, etc.The
                  majority of its members come from the capital of Macedonia,
                  Skopje. The nationality of the supporters is 100% pure Albanian
                  (That is probably what makes as special in this area).We were
                  formed with the initiative of young activists and football
                  lovers (Artan Grubi & Krenar Shuku), who started organising
                  the youth starting from the neighbourhood "Cair" and
                  continuing to all Albanian parts of the capital.

                  Our main characteristics are that we love our club without
                  regards on the results. We support them mainly with our
                  voice, flags, and pyrotechnics. As you all can see in the photos
                  we are quite good :).

                   It is true and a reality that we face discrimination towards
                   other Macedonian teams and supporters, regarding our
                   nationality of course. But, that is a reason more to be
                   organised and give our best in the “kop” together with the
                   players on the pitch.

                   We always travel to away games and help our players to gain
                   victory. We also were interviewed by the National Dutch
                   Television, French Newspapers, National Macedonian TV,
                   Local private TV Stations and Newspapers, etc.
                   It is a great pride and honour for us to present you this site
                   that represents our work and initiative throughout these
                   years of activities in this field.
